We love the dynamic character this small apartment in Sweden exudes. Discovered by Freshome on real estate broker Alvhem‘s website, the 430-square-foot crib has a combined kitchen and living space, a bedroom and a bathroom.
The apartment, overlooking the central Kungsgatan (King’s Street) in Gothenburg, has a charming bistro feel. From the tiny south-facing balcony, the inhabitants can feel the pulse of the city.

Instead of storage cabinets, the designers chose open shelves to enhance the spacious feel of the kitchen. White subway tiles, monkey paintings, a wooden dining table and a light-blue refrigerator add a retro feel.
The living room and bedroom are separated by old wooden doors, which complement the çağdaş furniture and reflect the turn-of-the-century character of the building. Which of the design elements in this Gothenburg apartment do you like best?
