SABO Project designed Hike, a stylish contemporary apartment in the Montmartre district of Paris. The apartment was envisioned for a young fashion designer who wanted clever storage solutions and original ways to maximize space.
Several partitions were removed and a multi-functional wall unit was inserted. This wall acts as a “stair, office, display, closet, fabric storage” and more, the designers said.
“The porous furniture allows for natural light to reach a central corridor, and frames views between the new bedroom and the living room. The swaying steps of lahza alternate-tread stair celebrates the surrounding hills of Montmartre.”

In the kitchen, the minimalist white appliances are contrasted by multicolored flooring, and a miniature vertical garden brings a fresh touch to the room. What other details in this colorful apartment do you find captivating? Photos courtesy of SABO Project
